Dr. Ashley Klassen is originally from London, Ontario, Canada where she developed a love of horses at a young age. She grew up competing in the hunter ring.

Ashley earned an Honours Bachelor of Science (HBSc) in Animal Biology from the University of Guelph and stayed at UofG for Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the Ontario Veterinary College (c/o 2026). While there she served on the executive team for OVC Surgery Club and was an active member OVC Equine Club. Her professional interests include sports medicine, podiatry, emergency medicine, and diagnostic imaging.

Outside of work, Ashley enjoys riding and spending time with her OTTB Cure, and her cat, Leo, as well as reading, traveling, hiking, and exploring the outdoors.
